THE HISTORY OF WUERZBURG – GERMANY

The Wuerzburg Community was established on 10th January 2010 with the support of Sr. Kulandai Theresa, Sr. Mary, Sr. Alice, and Sr. Josephine. The desire to have a community in Wuerzburg was fulfilled with the help of many generous individuals.

After receiving permission from the Superior General and the diocese of Wuerzburg, the sisters visited the Catholic hospital and the diocesan seminary in September 2011. They were warmly welcomed, and the agreement to start a community was made on 15th October 2011.

The community has been actively involved in various charitable works, and from 2013 to 2015, the sisters attended a Nursing Course. In 2015, Sr. Katharina, Sr. Lioba, and Sr. Johanna joined the community, further enhancing their service.

In 2016, they expanded their service by taking care of the elderly and the sick. In 2018, they achieved significant success in the Nursing field, attending to nine patients in need.

On 2nd October 2018, Sr. Kulandai Theresa retired, and Sr. Alice became the new Superior. The community continued to grow, and on 1st January 2021, they welcomed Sr. Mary to the team.

The Wuerzburg Community remains dedicated to their charitable mission, serving the community with love and commitment.
