St. Louis Convent – Pallathathanur

HISTORY OF ST. LOUIS CONVENT – PALLATHATHANUR, SALEM

St. Louis Convent in Pallathathanur, Salem, was established with an old house in 1975 and a new house on September 12, 1999, under the leadership of Mother Dinnish Mary. The primary purpose of the establishment was evangelization.

The present ministries of the community include evangelization, taking Sunday classes, catechism classes, organizing choir classes, arranging for the Holy Eucharist, guiding small Christian communities, making house visits, and providing classes for the First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and sacraments of Baptism and Marriage.
