St. Louis Convent – Melnariappanur

In 1990, a BSNL landline connection was installed, and in 1999, the community received assistance to buy a two-wheeler, an EXCEL SUPER, from the MIVA Austria organization.

Subsequently, a boarding facility for school-going students was started in 2001, and a 600 feet deep bore well was dug in 2003. Another bore well was dug in 2016, this time reaching a depth of 1040 feet. In 2017, the convent building underwent renovation with support from the province and foreign funds.
