THE HISTORY OF DHARAPURAM
St. Louis Convent in Dharapuram was established on October 15, 1976, under the leadership of Mother Dennish Mary. The community’s purpose was evangelization, and it also started an Old Age Home and Thari on March 19, 1977. The present ministry of the community is focused on evangelization.
The first community members were Sr. Y. Adrian Mary, Sr. Eapurneya, and Sr. Velanganni.
