Background of Dakkili Convent : When Sr. Gregory and the sisters were doing their ministry at Rappur by the time the district Collector came for a visit and sisters requested the collector that they need a place to their educational ministry and to empower the people around Dakkili so he allotted this place.

History of the Community, Dakkili
In the year 1995 at Dakkili we have started infant Jesus Convent, the inauguration ceremony was done by Bishop Most Rev. Dr. Balasamy (Bishop Of Nellore). In 1995 June 16ththe community members came to this place.
The pioneers and the first community members were Sr. Amalorppavam and Sr. Pasala Elizabeth. Sr.Amalorppavam was appointed as a superior cum headmistress and Sr . Pasala Elizabeth was appointed as an assistant headmistress.
They both began the educational ministry along with the evangelization in and through Dakkili community. With lot of compassion and conviction they had visited the houses and introduced the new school from LKG to V standard at Dakkili and then the parents trusted them and began to admit their children in the school. At that time the strength of the students was around 75 and the teachers were 4. No parish as such found here in the beginning, around 65 members from different villages (Mopur, Althurpadu, Marlagunta and Dakkili) came for Sunday mass at infant Jesus convent, Dakkili.
Present Community members:
Sr. Pauline Sagaya Rani (Superior), Sr. Mathi Margaret (Principal) and Sr. Gracy Jansi Rani (Teacher). Here we do our ministry with all enthusiasm. We make the people to live according to the human values and we teach them about Jesus by our simple way of life. We put our heart and soul for the betterment and the development of the institution and we assure that we will increase the students strength of the school as much as possible.
