NIRMALA CONVENT
HISTERY OF THE CONVENT:
IN the Year of 1988 onwards our sisters were doing service here in this remote place Chinnapuri. Really those days the sisters has done the wonderful service to the innocent people and poor people. The services like evangelization, MCH Program and educating the poor widows and ladies. The sisters were also motivated the people and taught the life values and good culture the sisters were stayed in the old building till 1992. The new convent was inaugurated in year 1993 on 14rh of July in the period of mother Nambikaimary superior General and Regional superior sr.Agnes. Those days the sisters were lived for the people, among the people, with the people beyond this they were one along with the people like democracy. They sacrificed themselves for the people happily. They taught all the prayers for the people and had done all the things in the church and inspire the people to go to god more closely. Sisters were also participated in all the activities held in the village, in the school and surrounding villages. The relationship was very good between the sisters and the fathers here in this village.
PURPOSE OF THE CONVENT:
Gospel the poor: The purpose of convent is to serve poor people and to educate the poor little ones to give the life to the poor girl children in the boarding.
